    Red zones in Rtts

How do I increase the number of red zones that my hitter has in Rtts?

Get more hits from balls in those zones

      I concur with HozandMoose.
One of my players was blue all along the bottom, and they started pitching down more, so I started moving the PCI down and hitting there more and now low middle is bright red, low inside is clear, and low outside is a red hue.
Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
      CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

This is one thing I don't understand about the game. Surely if you hit balls in the cold zone, then you won't get many hits. Combine that with my player's current cold streak and I'm doing terribly at the moment. I use zone hitting but am no good at chasing where a ball is going. I just end up missing balls all the time!!

I use zone also and wasn't good at chasing either, but instead I just use it more for looking for a pitch in a certain zone. In other words if I think there's a good chance the cpu is gonna pitch me low cause I have a runner on first then before the pitch I lower the PCI to cover the bottom portion of the plate, if I get a pitch in that location I swing if not I move on to the next pitch.

Thanks for the advice. Being from the UK I don't watch baseball at home, but have always been a fan of The Show because of its realism. I think my lack of baseball knowledge is my main problem with predicting how the ball will be pitched!

No problem. And remember if you are having problems in a certain zone you can bet the cpu is gonna pitch you there till you either start hitting from that zone or you learn to take the pitches in that zone (if there balls)

like the OP, i dont have much knowledge about baseball and this is my first MLB:TS and I really like the game.

Do you have any suggestion on what to use (Power, Normal, Contact) on pitches located near my body? Both LHP and RHP, pitches that are near my body is blue because whenever I hit the ball on that location, its either a pop-up or ground ball. Im using zone

cold blue along all the inside squares for me and I know its coming, especially from lefties which leaves me with a ton of air conditioned swings or sawed off bats
