Do you keep playing if you are being blown out early?

So right now I am getting my *** handed to me by the Marlins 7-1 in the 2nd inning and I really just want to end the game by fast forwarding. Do anyone of you guys do this?

i find myself always playing it out but I will pretty much give up, ill just start swinging at everything and throwing all strikes to make the game end quicker

Since I SIM a few games in my franchise before playing a game, I always keep playing, plus you never know when you'll have a big inning to come back. Has happened to me before

I play every game, every pitch. No matter what. It gets pretty ugly too since I play as the Cubs.

7-1 is nothing. I've come back from down 6 before. I always play, every inning, every game.

Always play them out. Been playing the show since 08 and have never hit fast forward to complete a game.

I take my beatings like a man.

I lost a game a little while back 11-1. It was pretty ugly.

The key to me is knowing that it's possible that I could turn around the next game and return the favor. With a good difficulty level and slider set for your ability, loses like this feel refreshing to me because they shouldn't happen all that often.

Variety in games is a must to keep me interested throughout the season.

Same philosophy here. After winning two games decisively, I just got thumped 11-4 and it was painful.

But I like playing these games out for two reasons. First, you have real ownership of your stats if you play all the games, and if you play all the way through. That's important to me. Second, you never know what can happen in baseball. I've had games where I was getting whipped like a redheaded stepchild through 5,6,7 innings and then had a monster inning or two to give me the win.

Yeah, I got shelled for 6 runs in the 1st 2 inning of a game, came back to win 9-8. If you can sting together some hits, you are never out of it.

I don't quit the games. Never ever fast forwarded either. And hey, if it's only in the 2nd inning, there's still plenty of 7 innings to make your comeback that's if your pitcher shuts them the rest of the way. Same with hockey for me. I don't believe in quitting. I remember I was in a bad losing streak in NHL12 I believe. Like 10 games or so. Every lose i just wanted to play another game till I won lol. Sure enuf once I won, i got in a hot streak. Funny things happens eh.

As for baseball, haven't played a season yet i'm always too busy with my rosters with exhibition games here and there plus I have a lil' one so I don't get much done, i've gotten some bad games but never quit unless I get tired or distracted by my son, those games are meaningless anyways but once it's in the season, different story.
