Just need some advice/suggestions

This morning when I tried to turn on my PS4 it wouldn't fully turn on and I got a message saying I needed to reinitialize the system. So I did that, and as a result I lost everything. All my data, settings, all of it.

I have always played all 162 games in my franchise, and I was about 79 games in. I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else before, and if so, what did you do?

I'm wondering if I should just start over and play every game again, or sim to where I'm at? Another option would just be to screw the serious franchise thing for the rest of this year, and just have a fantasy draft or do something loose and fun.

Any replies will help because I literally have no idea where to go from here.

I would say because saves are transferable now, its worth starting over. This time save a back up to the cloud.

There should be no need to start over. If you have PS+ (which i assume you do). The game saves all files online. Just go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in Online Storage You should then see all the games that have saved to the cloud. Select MLB and download all of the files.

Huh??... Damn, does that happen automatically? Where does one find that information? I mean about it saving everything online. I thought you had to manually save it all to the cloud yourself....??....

By default it automatically does it every time you log off. You can turn it off so that you have to do it yourself.

HOLY **** I LOVE YOU SO MUCH this is the greatest thing I've heard in probably my entire life I had no idea about any of that I thought you had to do it manually oh my god this is amazing I thought that literally days of playing time was completely vanished I could cry right now wow thank you so much id give you a million dollars if i had it
