I try to go the other way if i get a fastball, then if its a change i might pull it.

If theres a runner on 2nd and less than two outs...generally the pitcher will try to throw inside to righties... so then i definitely look to fight off a fastball behind the runner (up the middle at least) or smoke an offspeed pitch down the left field line

I have the most success hitting when i can pinpoint a pitcher's release. It's harder to do that for some pitchers. Just like in real life. You gotta see the ball all the way to you. But still, an ace is an ace. He's going to make your life miserable at the plate because he just has that "stuff".

Sometimes I notice a little different trajectory with a change than the fastball when it's released by the pitcher.

Usually if the change is low I'll just let it go unless there are two strikes, then I just hope to foul it off. A low change is a tough ball to do anything with in this game anyway, especially with zone hitting. My thumb doesn't move down as fast as it goes up.
