Actually I do use pure analog for hitting. Maybe this is part of the problem?

I'm tempted to say if some are experiencing the problem and others aren't, the glitch might be somehow tied to batting preference,

Anyway, yes, I use analog hitting, and the Sliding Decisions setting is on default Auto. Should I be switching it to On? Would that alleviate the problem? The description says "When ON, the CPU will automatically slide for the user's runner"... seems like that would just make things worse.

I don't know how hard of an adjustment this is, but maybe try releasing the stick more quickly after you complete your swing and see if that helps. I have a feeling you're pre-loading the slide by keeping the stick pushed up for a little too long.

Probably a daft question but if you are using pure analog, you have made sure that you have set the sliding decisions to on??

Amazingly, turning the sliding decisions to ON seems to have solved the problem! Even though the description for ON says the CPU will make all sliding decisions, I haven't had the CPU go into an automatic slide yet!


Twice I was able backpedal on a fly ball out without the automatic slide burning me!

Not sure why this works for me (or anyone using pure analog...?) but I'll take it! You, sir, are a master.

The Show 2015 will really need to be drastically improved to justify a purchase for me, I'm a franchise mode guy and apart from the very good gameplay The Show is just lacking a lot. So I'll stick with Ootp till then, which is exactly the opposite.

Ya, but now the organ music works..... isnt that all that matters SMH lol

Speak for yourself, I haven't heard one key from an organ post patch. But at least my custom camera save works.

Great:
Custom camera fix
Analog throwing sensitivity adjusted
Organ music playing
Catcher sign hand doesn't morph through his gear anymore

Not so great:
When taking a stride and letting the ball pass the batter still goes in some sort of double stride re-take sometimes
Still no stamina/confidence bar in the quick menu or select menu
Chalk not degrading during the game
Graphic that comes out of the scorebar now and then still blocks the analog pitching meter

Now that custom camera saving is fixed you can move the pitching meter so the overlay pop up doesnt effect it.

Assume this is not corrected in the patch but I'll give it a try soon. But long story short, RTTS/PlayerLock mode has been unusable for me since the game launched, and it's one of the first things I've wanted to play. However, it's broken if you are one who wants to play with ALL PITCHES selected. You have the option to only play the plays involving your player, and other options, then you have all pitches which has been broken.

Since it wasn't mentioned in the description of the patch, I don't expect that it's been fixed. Of all things disappointing about this game, this is the absolute most unacceptable issue of all if it's still not been addressed.

I heard it during the game I just played vs the Padres. I honestly didn't really notice it was missing prior to the patch. But man, I sure noticed it when it was playing.

I think its just a coincidence. My hitting hasn't changed from pre to post patch.

It is defensively once you are in the field. Don't you experience pre-pitch the camera panning around the entire ballpark, all the way from your position, to the catcher and mound, then all the way back around to your position? After that the pitch is thrown, you hardly even have time to align yourself to a desired position pre-pitch.

It does this after every pitch, and this couldn't be intentionally made by design, because it's absolute nonsense. If I'm in the outfield I'm not going to do that for a 162 game season, that is a tortuous idea. This to me appeared to be a bug, I posted a report on tsn, but it's now nonexistant and didn't get an official response from anyone. I have confirmed with other players that this is an issue.
