Re: 30 Team Control More Free Agents

I've wanted to do a 30 team franchise simply for the dumb things that the CPU does but only want to play and manage one team during the actual season. Does it take forever to get through an off season controlling 30 teams?

30 team control is great because you can control as much or as little as you want. I have everything set to auto for the other 29 teams. I let them do their thing. I only step in when I "need" to. It takes no more time than single team control.

It takes more time if you watch all the trades but it is worth it

That is interesting. Wins/loss record doesn't seem to be the determining factor. I wonder what the formula is to determine the amount of increase or decrease.

I think it's relative to your team ratings and expectations that go with that. So a team rated at the bottom of the league can still get a budget increase even if they finish below .500 because their expected performance was probably lower than that. And vice versa, a team rated really well may see a decrease even if they have a winning record, but maybe don't make the playoffs or advance far.

No idea. I never really paid attention to it in past editions.
