Does anyone else play like I do?

I have seen other options on different ways you guys play like playing the first couple of games in a series and simming the rest or playing 1 every 5. Both of these ways I feel a little disconnected with my team. So instead I play every game until I either take the lead or lose the lead. If I take the lead I will only pitch either the rest of the game or until I lose the lead. Same if i lose the lead I will just hit until the game is over or I take the lead back. This has allowed me to play games quickly for the most part and still contribute to every game. Does anyone else play this way?

That is an interesting strategy. I generally play 1 game in a 3 game series or 2 in a 4 game series. I might give you method a shot though.

That is actually a pretty nifty idea.

It's not for me though. I play both sides of every inning, of every game, of every season. It makes the game feel all the more rewarding when I finish a season, and it is the only way I really feel tied to everything that is happening.

I don't play play like you mentioned, but I have mixed things up. In our online franchise we played the first 85-90 games playing every single pitch. Then we played the remaining games including the playoffs with quick counts on.

Then we decided the online franchise is too bare bones and not worth playing and created a profile we both share on our consoles and just play an offline franchise and email the file back and forth. We still use quick counts for this one, but since it is offline and I can use player lock, I've played as only Gattis and Simmons exclusively, watching the pitcher from the dugout in our half inning, calling every pitch with Gattis, fielding with Simmons. It brings extra life to the game and keeps everything fresh and exciting for me.

I used to play this way until they introduced quick counts. Now I play very game in its entirety. I started in May on the PS3 with my franchise and I purchased a PS4 about 10 days ago and I have 35 games left and love every minute of this game. Quick counts are the way to go. Also have made my games more realistic as I actually walk now where before I was too much of a free swinger to draw a walk without quick counts.
