    Pitcher injuries.

I'm almost through my first season (playing every game, every pitch) and I've only had one injured pitcher. It was a minor injury to Travis Wood and I actually don't think he even missed a start, I just had to take him out of the game. In past games I've seen some injuries here and there to starters but hardly ever, if ever in fact, to relievers.

Have you guys seen any injuries to pitchers, especially relievers?

I do love how the injuries are contextual. Early in the year there was a lazy fly ball out to left field and Justin Ruggiano missed it and I had to take him out of the game. I watched the replay and laughed as I watched the ball hit him right in the fact. He missed about five games with a black eye. So cool.

But other than getting hit with the ball, I'm not seeing any pitching injuries. The occur on other teams (in simulated games) but I've yet to see one where I lost a pitcher for any substantial time.

Im gonna feel bad for you when all your pitchers get hurt at the same time. Those things always happen to me when i make a thread about something. The Show god hates me.

          I do not.

On a foul ball....just lost Bartolo Colon to a broken arm for 1-2 months.
I just passed the Nationals in the N.L. East too.......I did pick up Paul Maholm recently as my LRP/spot starter. Not sure if I'll press him in to duty or try another avenue....

Lost DeSclafani and Heaney for 4 to 8 weeks in one turn through the rotation.

If I lose Jose Fernandez as well like the real Marlins...

I just lost Jason Motte in the third game of the season to a messed up shoulder (forget exact injury) but he's on 60 day DL.

Bullpen is not a place where I can afford injuries.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
