I don't think the Clutch ratings have been explicitly discussed by a dev. They have been said to give small boosts to primary attributes (like Contact, per 9 ratings) in "clutch" situations. That's some info Knight got from the devs and wrote some time ago. -

I don't have the patience to watch the whole video, but someone in the thread mentioned they weren't going to beef up clutch after watching the video. might have been mentioned in there. was just hoping someone could confirm and save me the hour videoComment

My shorthand way of thinking about it is if my controller is vibrating/pulsing, it's a clutch situation and the stat applies.

ya that's a thought. I saw russell mention somewhere that it kicks in with RISP. of course the controller doesn't rumble every time there are RISP. so I don't know... not sure why I thought I read an article that explained it in detail. may have been imagining itComment
