    Double play help

I need help. Through 28 games in my Giants franchise I have grounded into 35 double plays and it feels like a lot more. Just last game I lost 2-1 and grounded into 4 double plays. I've learned no matter what don't swing at the first pitch with a guy at first because it will be a double play. But it doesn't seem to matter what count, where the pitch is located, or who's at the plate. I really can't steal a whole lot because the Giants don't have any speed. I'm starting to consider I need to bunt anytime I get a single....

Me thinks if prior to the pitch you press up on the right analogue, you can influence a pop fly...

I've notice the CPU throws a ton of breaking balls and 2 seemers low in the zone with runners on first. So I do my best to get on top of the ball. Typically I set the cursor low in the strike zone and wait for my pitch. Also, with the pitcher throwing everything low trying to induce a ground ball, sometimes it'll fall behind, and you can get a good elevated fastball to drive. Statistically, your number of DPs would be the team lead across MLB, lol.

Start your runners and use contact swing too.

Yup. Get aggressive....theres a thread like this somewhere thats the same thing....just steal more, hit and runs, bunt, etc. u r a NL team so bunting is much more do able then if u were in the AL.

Yeah there are threads all over the place unfortunately they are sometimes hard to find.

Working the count on the pitchers helps too. I want to mash every pitch but the computer picks that tendency up real quick. I usually get a hot just about every 3-1 count now. If I don't get a hit I hit the ball hard.

So hang in there and keep trying.

One area I still get burned is when their runners on base and my outfielder chases a ball down then lobs it to the cutoff or infield?
