Obviously they would need to consult with legal. Movies and TV shows do it all the time. They look up what names, companies, phones numbers, addresses, etc are available for use.

On another note, I always imagined Save-A-Lot as a Camelot themed super market. How disappointing.

I see no problem with real ads in the game. As long as they're not intrusive like they were in past Madden and MLB 2K games (Remember that huge State Farm banner?). Pepsi and Budweiser ads where they would be appropriately placed in any ballpark. Wrigley sells both of those, so there you go.

And I'd be super impressed if they brought back the Torco sign:

Would the lady who left her nine kids at Wrigley Field please pick them up immediately? They are beating the Cubs 4-0 in the 7th inning!

I don't currently understand at all, the problem with at least mostly carrying the real advertisers into the game. It would improve the stadiums by alot if they were simply able to use the real advertising there, instead of these fake ads so it's obviously worth the effort. But I don't understand the impediment anyway because if you obtain the rights to the stadium, how isn't the advertising all inclusive. They pay to have themselves associated with the stadium presumably. The reason I say I don't understand is because Fifa 15 just did the whole barclays premier league stadium roster and same with the NHL, they carry over plenty of the advertising, I'd dare say all of it.

I would think if you have obtained the rights to put the stadium in the game, the advertising should be coming with it. NHL 15, as I mentioned have real ads in their arenas and they always have for a few years. Why can't MLB the Show the only baseball game out there, have the ability to put "COCA"Cola on the bottle in AT*T Park or at least manage to work in some smaller adverts to the stadiums doesn't make sense.
