Re: Wireless controller lag?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

You dont need a "gaming monitor" though. Mine isnt a gaming monitor. It just has 5ms or so of input lag. Acer H231HL.Comment

Thanks. Personally I really don't think I have much if any lag problems with my set up, not at least that I notice with my eyes.
I do have a 37"lcd for my TV tho. From what I've been reading tho I think maybe my next TV purchase will be a plasma. I was gonna get an led but it sounds like plasma might be better.Comment

I don't see much difference plugged in or wireless.
I don't know if that means there's no lag or that my mind just adjusts to whatever differences there are eventually.
Granted, I don't understand much about the whole lag thing. I just know I can play the game just fine with just a typical inexpensive flat screen TV and wireless controller."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Not all lag is perceivable. It has to be of a certain size before it's large enough to even be recognized by your brain.I don't see much difference plugged in or wireless.

So while there very well could be lag associated with the wireless-ness of the controller, odds are, it's too small to be picked up by the human senses, and not big enough to have any effect on your performance.Comment

You also have to remember that when you plug your control in or un plug you wont be facing the same pitcher every time. One may be throwing 97 the next throwing 93. Or maybe you plug it in when the pitcher is getting up there in the count so its easier.Comment
