Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere.

It looks like player generation/progression isn't very well done still.

Do you see over abundance of hitters with high Vision ratings and pitchers with low K/9 ratings?

I'll look. So many pitchers have 1:1 K/BB ratios. It's prevalent all across both leagues.

I am really hoping that this is something that can be patched without needing to restart Franchise Modes.

That would be far more brutal to those of us that are nearly through a season.

99% chance you see no new patch for 14.

This is something I have discussed the sim engine needs to produce the stats correctly. Ur only fix would be to to thru pitchers and edit them. To produce stats correctly..

For instance if a guy has a 99 k/9 rating it doesn't mean he should pitch 380 strike outs a season.. It simply means he should have a very minute chance of having an insanely good season like that.. Or if pitchers are that bad.. The engine needs to recognize who are the better strike out pitchers and correlate the stats correctly.. It's frustrating that they are that low what in the world are the ratings of those players?

Heh the first thing I noticed was the 1.39 ERA. That guy is threatening to break Bob Gibson's ERA record.

And then to do it with only 24 Ks? I hope all his fielders win Gold Gloves!

SCEA doesn't look that far, it's a yearly game and they know most people do not play the game that deep not to 2025. QC does not look for things like that, they are looking for game breakers and things in that realm.

Could you share some team rankings and league leaders screens (regarding strikeouts)?

Are K's down across the board basically? How are batting averages?

                        12....

What roster did you use?(I'm guessing OSFM.....you said you hit your first homerun with an OSFM player)
But....are you sure you are using a legit OSFM roster?
Are you sure it was loaded for this franchise?
                        How many sims is this?

...and to me...it actually looks like a display bug for the All-Star game.

I have simmed dozens and dozens of franchises.....to 2030...with the default set and with the OSFM.

This is CERTAINLY not the case for pitchers. They DOMINATE in later years with the K/BB ratio.
It's usually the top 10-12 with over 200 K and less than 100 BB.

I'll be home in about 20 minutes and get some pics of my franchise saves.

Sorry for the hit and run here....I gotta run back out quick.....won't be home for a few hours.

Also sorry for the camera pics w/flash....fastest way to get these.

I had a 2020/2025 and 2030 save for a few franchises....tough to find quickly(LET US NAME OUR FRANCHISE SAVES!!!! )...but here is one from 2025 that I simmed to the A.S. game...and then gave you the league leaders in K's for 2026

                          ">

                          ">

                          ">

Like I said...if anything the K's are MORE prevalent....

                          BA's vary...a lot...some years 12 guys hitting over .300...sometimes only 5 guys....
HR's are also very up and down year to year.....league leader with 30 one year....and then 45-50....
BB's are usually right around 100 for the league leader....

                          Sorry again...to hit and run.
Talk it up and I'll pop in later.

Watson must be a switch pitcher. .194 lefty/righty split. Statistically improbable but not so crazy that it matters.
