Get CPU to place players on waivers - Franchise

Playing as the Cubs and trying to get the Marlins to place Turner on waivers, lowered him to a 22 overall, any tricks to get them to dump him?

Already 120+ games in, too late to turn back now

Nothing you can do unless you have force trades on.

Yeah...this is a tough one if it's two CPU controlled teams.
If you're looking to move him to YOUR team...just make one of your players really attractive to them...and that player not so much for you and you can kind of force a trade that way.
..(and then edit them back to what they were)

First off thank you guys for the attempts but it was my bad for not being more clear, I'm playing as the Cubs and I'm passed the trade deadline, so I'm trying to find a way to play the ratings to make the Marlins more likely to put Jacob Turner on waivers but I fear I may be out of luck

Trade waivers shouldnt have much to do with ratings as contract maybe more so..what you could do is change all position players to the same position so theres just an excess of that position and see if they put a bunch of their players on waivers. These are trade waivers, the team isnt looking to DFA

recently discovered that if you search by a player by name specifically you can click on them and it gives you a make trade option and you can trade for any player after the deadline whether they have been placed on waivers or not
