Just had a thought today. Animations for umpires need to be updated for check swings with contextual awareness. Every time a check swing for a strike was appealed, the ump would act like a high intensity strikeout just happened. If it's strike 1 or 2, then the ump just needs to do a casual fist action. It's just weird seeing strike 1 or 2 all the time looking like it was a close call ring up.

Anyone who subscribes through Beehiiv moving forward will have an easier time connecting the two accounts, but it’s just a little tricky reverse engineering it for old subs, so we have to manually add you all.
Whether you decide to jump in now, later, or stick with free, the important thing is that Operation Sports continues to move forward in a way that’s community-first and independent.
