Re: Do players need rehab starts after 15- or 60-day DL Rests?
They could set it up where a guy won't regain his full attributes until he has done rehab assignments. But maybe sometime down the road.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

As long as it's done right. I would not want a guy to come off the dl and then have to do a rehab assignment.
In MLB the rehab assignments usually occur during the dl time and once they complete that they are activated.Comment

I see it as the rehab starts are already happening in the background. I don't play the minor league games anyway (and that's where they would be).Comment

It would be a good option to let us decide if we want rehab games or not and when they start. If you try and do them too early then maybe you could risk the chance of a setback and if you don't do them maybe have a slight ratings drop for a week or 2. I just want franchise mode to have every little detail that is in real life, assuming it makes sense for a video game of course.Comment

Re: Do players need rehab starts after 15- or 60-day DL Rests?
The reason I want rehab starts is twofold.
Before that...I don't want to see them added if it's just a cosmetic thing....it has to carry some reason..and knowing SCEA...it's the only reason they would add it if they did decide on it.
I want the rehab start(s) in the minors for gauging how far along the player is from his injury in regards to recovery through a report from the coaching/training staff....both in terms of performance(coaching) and health(training)...
Player A is at about 90%...but he looked good out there going 2-4 with a 2B and a run.
I think he's good to go
Player B looks to be about 70%......he's favoring that leg and I think he needs more time to recover. He was 0-2 when we took him out of the game.
If you decide to bring up player B regardless of your coaching staffs recommendation.......he would have an increased chance of re-injury.
