    Re: Returned from retirement

Considering this is from year 2014, my best guess is that this was placed as the reason in the roster foundation screen intentionally for this player. As far as I can tell, I don't think the game can ever generate this kind of scenario (meaning from 2015 onward) on its own.

    I could be wrong though!

      Re: Returned from retirement

Okay, new question so I don't have to start a new thread, that kind if pertains to retirements:
Do big-name guys who retire (or even career minor leaguers, etc.) ever show up in the coaches pool? I've never looked, and this franchise I'm playing is only 9 games in so far (playing every game). I'd love to get a guy that retires after year 1 because the generated coach on the Mariners/Other various teams is dumb.

        No they don't become coaches.

It would be so cool! And if they already had guys like Ken Griffey Jr. in the pool to start... Damn.

                he'd be my hitting coach.

If retired players became coaches ...

I really wish they did as well as somehow ink hall of famers to be in the game. Cause if Ozzie was in the game, he would be with the Cardinals in some form or fashion.
