RTTS LF for the Mets, and Matt Harvey, David Wright, Travis d'Arnaud, and Dillon Gee all had career ending injuries within the first two seasons. Zach Wheeler is a 73 overall with A potential, and Jacob deGrom was traded to the Reds, where he's only leading the league in ERA and Wins.

When the opposing pitcher throws 90% of his pitches half in/half out the zone. When this happens and you hit on timing you'll know what I'm feeling.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Mariners Franchise 2014
Had a 5 game losing streak early in my season. 3-5 games I was shutout. Also got swept by the Yankees at the end of April.
Fernando Rodney blew 5 saves in 8 tries.
All are by far my worst moments so far.Comment

Re: Share your depressing moments of The Show 14
Not sure if this counts under what the OP was thinking, but for me it was starting and playing through 95 games of a Twins franchise (no simming, no quick counts) only for the CE-34878-0 (blue screen) to make that file and the backup save file unusable. That was pretty depressing because I was really invested in that franchise with the idea of carrying over to next year.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: Share your depressing moments of The Show 14
A couple more
I either pitch complete game shutouts, or games where i'm pulled by the 3rd inning because I gave up 4+ homeruns
Being a single pixel off the meter, and the pitch ends up as far as possible from where I intended, or it hangs. They are the only two options
having 90 break on a 12-6 curve, yet the pitch never breaks more than a footComment

Re: Share your depressing moments of The Show 14
End of April, my Cubs have a 3.5 lead on the Reds and heading into Cincy for 3 trying to bury the Reds a little in the standings. First game go up 6-0 after the 1st inning! But slowly watched the Reds chip away and tie it 6-6 in the 7th, and then watched Jay Bruce crush one in the 13th to give them a great comeback win.
Second game get shut out 2-0 on a Jay Bruce walk off in the bottom of the 9th! 3rd game I actually won 1-0 getting my run in the top of the 9th.
So to sum it up, score 6 in the first inning of the series, go 21 scoreless and then get 1 in the last inning of the last game.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Re: Share your depressing moments of The Show 14
Hitting the wrong damm buttons when running between bases and ending up out on a triple play when I should have scored 2 runs.
my biggest gripe is sometimes the runners are not sensitive enough and won
t run that extra 2 seconds it takes to response is the difference between scoring a run or an ourComment

Re: Share your depressing moments of The Show 14
The details are a little fuzzy now but this should give you a clue. I just couldn't find the final out. I do remember a Lawrie error putting the winning run in scoring position and I knew at that point they would get him around to score.

Re: Share your depressing moments of The Show 14
Enforcing a $150,000,000 ceiling on my Braves franchise, and having to choose between keeping Justin Upton and Jason Heyward because Frank Wren screwed me over with that BJ Upton contract. (I signed all players to like contracts replicating real life. Couldn't live with myself having Freeman, Teahran, and Simmons all under cheap long term deals. Upton wanted more than he was getting in real life, so I split the difference on the Uggla contract. Worked out the same since they are both up at the end of 2015.) Not to mention where I picked the previous two drafts, corner outfielders were scarce.
Jose Peraza 2B (81) - 92 SPD
Jason Heyward RF (93)
Freddie Freeman 1B (92)
Evan Gattis LF (77) - a complete tank in LF
Chris Johnson 3B (75) - slightly limited offensively
Andelton Simmons SS (91) - limited offensively
BJ Upton CF (74) - extrememly limited offensvely
Christian Beatancourt (75) - useless
Not to mention my 2014 first pick is the video game equivalent of Bubba Starling, an A potential prospects who is YEARS away from the majors. Should sim a year out so I can replace Chris Johnson with Kyle Kubitza. And to have only one more year of Upton on the book.Comment
