30 Team Control - CPU Isn't Adjusting Lineups After Injuries

Playing with 30-team control, just checked to make sure everything's set up correctly. I went through looking at Disabled Lists, and was disturbed to find out the computer doesn't appear to be adjusting their lineups after major injuries to key players to reflect the replacement player's level of skill.

So, for instance, Tulo went down with a torn hamstring. Then their backup went down also. So they've got a Rookie Call-up playing shortstop (Trevor Story - 68 OVR C POT - very mediocre batting ratings)... and batting 3rd.

Jason Heyward went down with something bad, and his Rookie Platoon Replacements are batting 5th. Not nearly as bad as the one above, but... I don't know that they've been adjusted at all.

Do I need to tell the computer to do this periodically?

You'll just have to adjust them yourselves....

Or put lineups to manual.....and when a player is injured...you'll be prompted to fix the lineup...hit auto and the CPU will do it.

I mean... Shouldn't the computer be handling this on its own? It's not like it's game-breaking or anything, but it's kinda disappointing.

I just assumed the computer would deal with stuff like this since rosters and lineups are set to auto. It's frustrating to be 90 games in to a season and just find out about this. Especially since I didn't know to even look for this issue.

But thanks for the suggestions. I'll keep an eye out for lineups now I guess.

I'm surprised to find that it isn't.(any longer)
It has before(ala shuffling after Spring Training)...and that was the cause of quite a bit of annoyance.
Perhaps they changed it because of that...just inserting the replacement....and then re-inserting the original when the DL stint is complete.

Can't have it both ways I guess.....
