I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: FA Logic just as bad as trade logic?
I think the FA logic is the real bummer for this game, at least to the ones playing franchise.
Teams are signing 35 years old relievers to 4 year contracts or the Diamondbacks signing Kendrys Morales like they were an AL team without the best 1B in their lineup.
These are just a few examples.
I play 30 team control, but in the offseason I put the FA option on AUTO to have some fun, but quickly it becomes ugly.
If anyone has a recommendation, I am all ears, pleaseComment

I have the Yankees, Mets and Oakland offer a contract to JJ Hardy, and the next day the only offer on the table is from the Yankees, or something like that.
Also, in manual at the end of the offseason you have all these teams with incomplete rosters. It is really annoying.Comment

It does not work either. In manual most of the offers are withdrawn. For example:

Re: FA Logic just as bad as trade logic?
Like I said earlier....it was Kolbe I believe who I had a conversation with about this.....and I'm not sure it's in place or something they were thinking of adding...or it's coaches and players..just coaches....etc....so that's a few years ago at least.
7 years and a lot of conversation tends to meld things a bit...(what is and what they want to add for instance).
However I will contact my attorney in case my "assertion" turns out to be incorrect.

Re: FA Logic just as bad as trade logic?
Since we're on the topic of free agency, there's a question I've been meaning to ask for a while now. In MLB 09 The Show, the amount of money the player wanted was based on attributes. If you lowered the players attributes, the amount the player wanted would decrease. Is this still the case in the current game?
