We don't think the game is bad. The game is stellar. The problem is there are some glaring issues that require rectification that some people here simply won't accept. I'd rather mention the issues with the game so they are fixed in future renditions and not just brown-nose the developers. We all think the game is amazing. It's the best representation of baseball I've ever played. I just think there are a few issues that need refining.

You mean bad as in good? The game is awesome. The quick counts feature is phenominal. First baseball game in a long time that I have played where my pitchers will actually throw balls when trying to throw strikes if they are rattled or tired. I have a few small complaints with the game, but those are just nit picky type things. With the right sliders you can get really accurate stats.

Bad is far from what I'd call it. But that doesn't mean it isn't without its problems. With animations being carried over from the early PS2 games, frequent flaws in animations all over(half the batting stances and deliveries are off the mark), flaws in models, stadiums, uniforms etc.

My biggest worry is that they stagnate just like Madden did.

Who's saying the game is bad? I haven't seen that here.

Saying "I wish..." or "I think this could use changing..." <> "I think this game is bad."

Online gamers may have complained about the game's badness because there has been some major hiccups (freezes, blue screens, batter loops) with online play but things seem to be a lot more stable now for me, at least.

The people who think The Show is bad are 1 or more of the following 3 types.

1. People who didn't get their way and get what they wanted in the game.

2. People that aren't very good at playing the game.

3. People who prefer 2K over MLB The Show.(could be classified as #2 as well also people living in denial)

Why can't we do both? The developers made a helluva game by your own admission and do more than any others that I've seen as far as listening and responding to our constructive criticisms and even some criticisms that are not so constructive -- those which are usually based on a misunderstanding of the corporate facts of life.

Nobody has said the game is bad, people saying it's not perfect doesn't mean it's bad. It's a great game probably the best simulation of a sport on the market, But outside of actually playing the games it's two biggest modes (Franchise, RTTS) are pretty bland compared to it's competition. Which some people like, some don't. It's got problems in those modes and online has had it issues as well
