Yeah same here. The slower it is, the harder it becomes to stay back and fastballs don't seem like fastballs. Some people must be playing on huge screens with a slow framerate or something! I feel like default speed is too slow.

Re: Lowering pitch speed does wonders
I made my way to slow pitch speed because I was looking to increase strikeouts.
Even on legend difficulty you canmake contact with pitches near the top and bottom of the strike zone without moving the pci. That annoys me. So I started dropping contact and timing down a click at a time until both were at zero. Then I started dropping the pitch speed a click at a time to help my newly gimped offense and it ended up at 0.
It is slow but just like real life, you can still be late on a 88 mph fastball if you are thinking about that 76mph curveball.Comment

Re: Lowering pitch speed does wonders
Moving the pitch speed up to 7 & 6 and finally settling on 8 has done wonders for me in kind of an opposite way. After a couple of months everything felt extremely hittable and 8 has really really spiced up the challenge. Closest feeling to reality for combating a MLB fastball and it does wonders for secondary pitches, making them feel alot different as well.Red LegendComment
