    Changing Primary Position?

Hey guys, is there a way to change a players primary position?

For example, I would like to change Manny Machado from 3rd base to shortstop.

I know how to do this in the lineup screen, but would like to make this a permanent change and have it show as his primary position.

Also, does this change player ratings?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

You just need to go to the MANAGE ROSTER screen.....hit X on Machado and choose EDIT PLAYER.
You will see his primary and secondary positions.
    Just swap them.

It won't change his ratings...but the OVR's are position specific...so that might change.

        Re: Changing Primary Position?

One more question in regards to changing pitchers from a SP to a RP...

If you have a pitcher that is listed as a SP, but you decide to switch them to a RP, do you make the change in the edit player screen? Or do you simply move them to the bullpen?

Is there anything negative that happens in the game by moving a pitcher listed as a SP to the bullpen? Also, if you change a SP to a RP does their overall ratings change? (I assume one of the biggest issues with having a SP in the bullpen is they will ask for significantly more money then a typical RP would as for in contract negotiations..)

Just curious how all of you manage pitching prospects that may not be good enough to be a starter, but can be a solid RP.

        Thanks!
