Instant Trade Question

1) I wish there was a way to adjust this after a franchise starts.

2) Reason being, I save my game before proceeding each day in hopes of catching and "unsaving" and potentially bad AI to AI trades. I notice even after a reload, that the same trade will be processed still. I'm thinking this has to do with a trade likely being mulled over for a few daysx thus never being able to undo anything.

And no, I have no interest in 30 team control.

I like the game to follow other unique and differentiated paths than just what I think; otherwise, I may end up with 30 teams all built exactly the same.

Bad trades happen, and I think most people go nuts over max team control situations because of the preconceived notions they have towards a player's name.

huh???? lmao then just use 30 team control for trades since essentially this is what you are doing

Isn't the draft different w 30 team control?

I don't think this would fix it. Not to mention, there seems to be no way around #1.

I would only veto the rare trade, but would like a chance to review them without the other hassles of 30 team.

It's cool. Without number 1, it doesn't matter as I don't want to start over.

Honestly ....they should do away with "single team" control and force everyone to choose all 30 teams and assign whichever ones they want to CPU.
Nobody would even realize the difference.
Starting a franchise....and choosing all 30 teams and assigning 29 of them to the CPU is EXACTLY the same as choosing just one team to start....EXCEPT...you may(ONLY IF YOU WANT) step in at any time and make a move for the CPU.
Otherwise...those 29 teams will follow the same logic(good or bad depending on your view) as if you just started a single control franchise.
The draft...now has the option to be controlled by the CPU as well.

With this method.....(which is exactly what I do).....just check the transactions page for pending trades and you may ACCEPT/REJECT or leave it(and allow the CPU to decide) on every single trade/waiver...etc.

Just leave everything for the CPU profile on AUTO.(you don't even have to toggle anything on the profile to make moves...just go to the team page and do it.)

No.....I believe they must be off.

But...in his case...there would no reason to have it on if he went with 30 team.

...and if you want to move players in a trade......"instantly"......simply propose the trade in the MAKE TRADES section....go to pending....and accept.

Id like to eventually switch to DH in the NL, so hopefully SCEA allows us to update settings upon importing into a new game, or at season's end.

Watching pitchers bat...might as well stick a toddler our there and charge me money for it haha

How many of these deals do you let through? I'm simming day by day through June 1st, and there's been maybe 1 or 2 feasible trades, but even those I rejected.

I feel like I've outlawed trading lol

Haha.....
Not many if at all until July......then I only let through the teams that are REALLY in playoff contention.
But I'm much more liberal that last two weeks of the deadline....I watched S.F. go from 8 out of the W.C. to getting the second W.C. spot in my 2014 season. S.D., Atlanta and Milwaukee fell off the planet.
Also, don't forget that Philly and the Yankees have "broken" team strategy...they are in dump mode all the time.....so I watch them a bit more.
The other thing I watch for is big name/long injuries and teams that try and fill that slot with a trade...I let those through a bit more as well.

If the game would only sim to the game you selected...

One time I tried 30 team control and saw no other scores unless I simmed the games...which then spoiled the results (especially sucks during the pennant chase).

They changed how the results are displayed....much easier to avoid seeing who won.
I just keep my sight on the simulate game box and have no idea who won until I'm playing my game.
