    Derek Jeter In Franchise

Just curious as to who has seen Jeter not retire after the first season in franchise.
Wondering if its possible to get him to 4000 hits.

He retired in my franchise. I'm guessing since there is in game commentary dedicated to him retiring at the end of the year, that he only plays the one season.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

thats what I figured, that it was hard coded in.

You can get him to 2015, but you have to up his Contact, Power, Vision, Discipline, Fielding and Reaction at the last week of 2014. I haven't seen him go to 2015 legit though.

          It's not hard-coded in.
None of the retirement actually are.
But the factors(first year we're talking here) are rarely overcome.
          That being age-ability.
The likelihood that a player will opt for retirement past a certain age is a big factor.

I'm using the Hybrid V3 set and Jeter didn't retire until after the 2016 season. Konerko and Papi went out in 2017 along with Tim Hudson. Also with the Hybrid set players don't regress as drastically.

glad to see Jeter continues on in some franchises.
with the announce crew making note of it being his final year i was worried they hard coded his retirement in there.
