You are right, Bullit. I've decided that the best choice is to leave him in. That's what I did with Darryl Kile in all of my baseball video games before 2003 and it just so happens that he became a HOF quality pitcher in of those games.

I tried playing a game last night, but I just couldn't concentrate well enough with the other batters, so I quit. Although, I was locked in when Oscar came up to the dish.

(As a side effect of no concentration, I had 7 Ks with Wacha through the first four. )

I'm currently in the offseason which is where real-life will be in a few short days. I edited Taveras and changed him into Yasmani Tomas, then released Tomas into the free agent pool.

Would've preferred to consider a mega-deal including Taveras...let us know what is in the great beyond.

They do that stuff in Latin Countries. It's normal. Carlos Martinez has twitter and people from America follow him and aren't used to this kind of stuff especially with censorship. I'm sure he didn't think it through and realized the uproar that would follow. Pretty sure someone from ST> front office made him take it down.

I'm aware of this, but still at what point did he think "man all my friends on twitter should really have the opportunity to remember Oscar by his his now deformed face and head"?

I doubt I use Oscar going forward in Show '15, but in 10 years or so I'd consider seeing how far I could push him in a classic historic roster.

I might do that. I was going to keep him on the bench until 15 came out, it will be sad using him in every game. My eyes get watery just thinking about what happened.

                          So sad for his death.

In 2 games in The Show he went 5-5 with 2 homers. I'm leaving him in.
