Im not sure if this has been brought up. I beileve if you can create milb players.Why cant you create Manager,Hitting ,Pitching,1st,3rd base Coach ,Farm Director.If the Mlb the show strive to be the most realistic baseball simulation game .I like the ablitiy to before or during my franchise mode or any mode to create new a coaching staff to rehire.Can a scea developer or anyone please explain this to me.

I may be mistaken, but for some reason I recall this being discussed and brought up during one of the Community Day Events, but it never made it into the game as other areas took priority.

I would love to be able to edit/create coaches/managers in the game. Would also like to see retired players in your franchise mode become coaches/managers.

Also add GM, owner, bench & bullpen coach names to the mix.
They don't even need to affect the game. I just want 'em for purely aesthetic reasons.

The bullpen coach doesn't really help in games, just talks to RPs and tells them when to warm up. But the bench coach on the other hand, becomes the manager should the manager get ejected.

I wouldn't mind seeing them implement something similar to NCAA Football or even College Hoops 2k8, with creating a Manager/coach from scratch and try to earn a job with a team around the league or start off with a team of your choice. I do agree with what others are saying though, we should be able to edit all the fake coaches and managers. Even add other coaches as well. Also manager/coach uniform numbers need to be tied into the editor. Nothing more annoying than a coach coming to the mound and he and your pitcher or another position player wear the same number. If we can't edit that, then they should tie it into the editor to prevent duplicate numbers or coaches wearing retired numbers with certain teams.
