Quick Question about Franchise
I think I know the answer to this but I wanted to get a definite answer. Can you take control of other CPU teams either during season or in offseason? Unfortunately I did not put 30 team control on and I have seen some of the most BS trades, for example Pujols just got traded to the Nats for Lucas Giolito. Thanks in advanceTags: None -

Re: Quick Question about Franchise
Not sure that he inderstood the question...
Yes, you can still do 30 team control. Search for the instructions on this forum, but make another profile called CPU and then in franchise, set team associations and you basically have it.
You cannot change budget on/off or instant trades, but you can do this.Comment

Re: Quick Question about Franchise
The question the OP pretty much asked was can I control a second team even though I did not set 30 team control? So I understood exactly what was asked. So if he is doing a single player franchise which I presume he is, then I said no he can't, the OP would have to deal with the franchise being a single player franchise.
Hey man, I was just trying to be nice since I was correcting you. I stand by what I said and YES YOU CAN.
tcsox, Follow the instructions on this post to create the separate profiles. I know that these are instruction for doing it prior to starting a franchise, but you can still do it just as easily within an already made franchise. Once you have created your extra profile, load your franchise. Then, go to 'set team associations' which is under the second tab from the right IIRC. I'm not in front of my Playstation to say for sure. Your team will show up as "user" profile. Set any other teams you want to user profile or "CPU" profile to fix the bad trades or veto them as you see fit.Comment
