They made a strong effort to work on areas they deemed to be weak in the game and a lot of that is gameplay. Talked about the radio show and how it will involve you with what's going on around the league. More immersion. I took it as it will be playing while you're in the main menu areas. There may be a show in January, where they might show the game and it might be playable. Really vague here. More info coming in January.

Most new gameplay features in franchise history, year to year saves, universal rewards is a new feature different than universal currency from last year. Ramone said a few times "you'll be getting stuff by just playing the game". Diamond dynasty changed quite a bit, more accessible, easier to understand. "Distilled to it's core" is how Ramone described it. Ramone stressed a few times its early in the process.

        1. Player personality and emotion is a big focus for this years game and the next couple years. Year 1 is cosmetic but could eventually have gameplay effect (confidence, etc.).

        2. Retractable domes - can't say anything right now

        3. Rainouts - No

        4. Lighting will be drastically different

        5. Had a secret community day a couple weeks ago

        6. Year to Year saves - will work for the life of the console (maybe even on to ps5)

        7. Sounds of the Show - Not this year (too late to get it done)

        8. Most new features in core gameplay ever in Mlb The Show history

        9. New stadiums for minor leagues

        10. Will be doing live twitch streams (at least 15 on schedule)

        11. There will be legends in the game

        12. Most recognizable licensed brands (Nike, Rawlings, Louisville Slugger, etc.)

        13. Radio Show will help to bring more immersion to the league and what is going on

        14. Stubs: If you didn't have to spend money to play last year, you won't have to spend a dime this year. They're developing the use of XP, but will never make you have to pay to play.

        15. Diamond Dynasty "distilled" and is less confusing and more accessible

        16. It's early! Everyone remember that this was for the fans and not supposed to be a major reveal, so contain all excitement and disappointment until we get closer to release and more information is released

A great listen and quality podcast. Full respect to Ramone and crew for keeping up the solid work year after year

I see they had the secret Community Day a few weeks ago, so does that mean they're back on schedule with a normal Community Day in January?

I like the new features in franchise and RTTS because I think franchise mode and the game graphics are the 2 biggest things in the game that needs to be improved. There is just not a lot to do in franchise mode and the setting ticket prices needs to come back. I Like the sound of the most new core gameplay features in history. I think the last 2 years the game has gotten a little stale and I think NBA 2k15 has now passed the show has the best sports game out there. Most of the time you don't see a big jump in how good a sports game is for one year to the next but NBA 2k15 is much much better then NBA 2k14 and form the sound of things this game could maybe be looking at a big jump like that to this year.

Only Ramone can answer that question.

Well, this game has tons of promise. Since I skipped out on last year, this year will be such a breath of fresh air. I'm in for the long haul.

So happy to hear the radio show is franchise related!!!
I'm also glad to hear it seems to be in the front end menus....so while perusing draft prospects and possible trades.....we'll hear about what's going on in the league.

Sounds like step 1.....and hoping that something along theses lines makes it to IN game as well(if it hasn't already!)

Thank you very much for the podcast, I really like everything I heard and it's understandable that they can't reveal too much at this point. One important thing to take away -- although it was barely mentioned -- is that the teaser trailer was not indicative of the final product, so for those of you who were disappointed with the visuals, it may be that older assets were used. Just a guess on my part.

Crashing into the wall animation need to be fixed. Players bounce off, and still make the catch.
