People already jumping to conclusions based on a compressed trailer about the graphics...I am sure it will be a looker. -

ROFL....Madden looks worse by far...aND NBA has to render less then half what MLB the show does.. baseball stadiums are huge, they dont have to worry about rendering near as many polygons or detail as MLB does, they have an advantage. Also wait until we see more, one compressed video you cannot judge the videos, games like the show look way better in motion.Comment

It's great to see that licensed equipment is going to be in the game this upcoming year. Let's be real though. I've been playing every show since it first started as MLB 06 for ps2. Last year was a great jump from ps3 to ps4 for next gen graphics. Game play was meh. I hope I'm wrong, from the video though, it seems to be the same game play wise. Cleats not digging into the dirt still. Where is the natural look to baserunning? Will we see true physics with player Collison or against the wall for a nice catch? I just feel that they're just making small yearly jumps instead of what we should be seeing by now from them. Nice dugout celebration but if not mistaking, I thought dodgers use the bubble machine? That would be great to see. Yes they will improve on these modes that we love and other things here and there but I want to see a gameplay improvement this second year on next gen. Really don't want to pay $60 for improved modes, dugout improvements and licensed equipment. Those are some things that shouldve been in last year. I'm just speaking for myself but others may understand what I'm saying. I don't want this to continue being the same game at its core with other improvements. Physics should be incorporated when hitting the wall, the ground on slides and dives, natural base running and so on. I just want to see an improved game all around. Just not portions.Comment

I would like to know when all stadiums will have real LED boards with stats instead of scrolling logos during gameplay. Going by this teaser traler I still see no real LED boards.Comment

I never really took much stock into the first trailer of the year for "The Show". Feb is the key...not December. There should be a #Overreaction tweet right about now.est 1978

I am just glad and surprised every year this game gets released at a high quality, never thought I would get back into baseball again but The Show did that for me and I am grateful.Comment

So based on these quotes from The Man himself, we can assume that the features released so far are just the tip of the iceberg.
Hopefully this can cool the hotheads thinking that '15 is just a roster update.
Patience is a virtue, they say.
No Sr. know one outside of Scott Rohde, Shane Layden or Shu tells us what to do. We control the release of our content. Originally we didn't want to announce a single feature at PSX. Just show the teaser and maybe the release date. We figured most like minded individuals would realize it's early and it's just a tease.
PSX was a big platform for us as we've never been involved that much in any giant conference. Countless people walked up to me and said the teaser got them interested in a baseball game. So it was a win for our small team. OS at some point will realize the dynamics of these things............or maybe not lol.

The negative reaction to the trailer reminds me of when Tiger fans complain about Dombrowski being a terrible GM because it's the first week of December and he hasn't signed a bunch of relievers or an outfielder yet, when he has at least two months of offseason to work with.I always look at this December info/trailers as something to whet the appetite.

Apparently looking at this trailer Nike must be the only namebrand equipment in the game,if you look at the pitchers cleats they are the old generic cleats they have using for years. I was under the impression that there was supposed to be more namebrand equipment in the game not just Nike, but look I'm just happy there is any name brand equipment in the game at all!Comment

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a issue with the grass. It still looks like a big green mat. I really they would make the grass look like this year's Madden turf looks like,I thought EA did a great job with that this year! It looks kinda weird in the Show when a player slides in the grass it looks like a totally flat surface and you see little blades of grass come up from it lol. Come on Russell we are on the most powerful console ever the Ps4! No excuses!Comment
