This is factual obviously, historically they've always come through. More to the generic point, this is perhaps why more than ever Baseball Gamers need the huge conglomerate that is EA Sports to comeback with MVP. That way there would be far less pressure on SCEA, not saying anything really against them, just they wouldn't be expected to do as much because for most of us on here The show would be one of two games we'd pick up in March.Comment

Couple things I would like to see on MLB 2015 the show. Please let's have a new broadcast crew. It be nice to have the guys from TBS on there and Ron darlin giving in depth pitcher analysis. Please, let's have a more realistic fielding animation as it looks repetitive. Have say a guy like Reyes throw sidearm from behind his ears like a catcher as he normally does. Have players celebrate home runs as they nornally do also with the Reyes like attitudes, encarnacion chicken wing celebration! Challenge plays!! Allow managers to challenge a call. Have more blown calls and wider strike ones for selective umpires. Let's have real umpires please. I'm tired of the potato head looking umpires. A small thing I notice too that I want fixed is the base runner screen. Let's have numbers on the players jerseys when on the base running screens. It he cool to have mc cutch do his steel city celebration after a double! I want to see more animation on call strike three. Have players argue a bit. Give the option to argue a call. Cr wait for 2015!!Comment

I think they mean you need stubs to unlock the equipment as a selectable option in the player edit/creation process. All the real life players will already have whatever gear they are supposed to have, but when you create a player in RTTS you will probably need stubs to give him Nike socks.
I think you are underselling just how much other people have wanted legends. It was one of the most demanded features of them all, at least here, and I think even the general public will really love it. If there's one thing us baseball fans love it's to reminisce and relive history.
I'm not saying you have to personally like this feature but I'm positive it will be a popular feature.
I agree. It looked great. The Show has had some celebration animations in the past that have looked very awkward and unhuman, bordering on corny. Guys acted like it was their first time ever hitting the baseball every time. But this one looked pretty chill and realistic, it seemed well done.
While I agree with this, it says that it's one legend per team, which kind of kills the point, think of all the Yankees greats or even great players who just retired a few years ago that most of us grew up watching who still won't be able to be in the game since only legend from each team will show up.
Plus the player creation and the roster creators have gotten really good at making a lot of these guys anyway, even though obviously the real legends that Sony makes should have better faces, better animations, better commentary, and hopefully have their real stats involved.Comment

It's great to see that licensed equipment is going to be in the game this upcoming year. Let's be real though. I've been playing every show since it first started as MLB 06 for ps2. Last year was a great jump from ps3 to ps4 for next gen graphics. Game play was meh. I hope I'm wrong, from the video though, it seems to be the same game play wise. Cleats not digging into the dirt still. Where is the natural look to baserunning? Will we see true physics with player Collison or against the wall for a nice catch? I just feel that they're just making small yearly jumps instead of what we should be seeing by now from them. Nice dugout celebration but if not mistaking, I thought dodgers use the bubble machine? That would be great to see. Yes they will improve on these modes that we love and other things here and there but I want to see a gameplay improvement this second year on next gen. Really don't want to pay $60 for improved modes, dugout improvements and licensed equipment. Those are some things that shouldve been in last year. I'm just speaking for myself but others may understand what I'm saying. I don't want this to continue being the same game at its core with other improvements. Physics should be incorporated when hitting the wall, the ground on slides and dives, natural base running and so on. I just want to see an improved game all around. Just not portions.Comment

I seriously doubt this trailer was meant for anything except showing the coverboy....and the licensed equipment announcement.

Enhanced player personalities. I wonder if they mean you will see more emotion form players when they get a big hit or hit into a big double play or something. The radio show I think must be something like the radio show that madden used to have in owner mode that talked about stuff going on around the league in your franchise. I wonder what they mean by directional hitting?Comment

This, exactly. But of course leave it to some here to complain and cry over every little thing. Of a game that is still being worked on and is months away from release. People love to overreact and complain. If they can't complain they aren't happy.MLB: Yankees

You can't cut it off mid throw which is imperative. You have to decide before release if you are going to the cutoff man which isn't how it works in real life.
We've asked for this for years.Comment
