When do Rosters Get Updated? (Nelson Cruz)

I want to start a new Franchise with the Mariners, but I was hoping to wait until there was a roster update that has Nelson Cruz in Seattle. Do they still do Roster Updates in the offseason? I am new to The Show as the PS4 is my first PS since PS2. Excited to get started back into baseball again.

No, SCEA stops doing weekly updates when the regular season ends. Just go download a roster from the vault. There are people that do daily updates.

I recommend downloading a roster from "sookiebunny" (I believe that's the name). Some of the top rated rosters are by him and they're up to date

Yeah, the last roster update was done I think I remember right before the LCS's.

Speaking of new rosters... I just downloaded sookiebunny's and played a game. I gotta say, for me, growing up with the captain, it's hard to see Gregorius as the NYY SS.

I'm not a Yankee fan at all but I am definitely a Jeter fan. There are very few players that when they leave the game, it feels like something is missing to those who watch, Jeter is one of those players. Hopefully he will be involved in the MLB in some capacity in the Future. Baseball needs players like him, a class act who knew he was never bigger than the game, respected it, and played it the way it should be played.

If he's not a first ballot HOFer then there is no one that should be from here on out.

I definitely agree with this. I hate the Yankees and most of the players on their teams over the years. Two guys I always liked, Mariano Rivera and Derek jeter, are both gone now. I'm an O's fan but I was definitely excited watching jeter walk off against my team in his last home game
