ur like right around the cut off age where ur bracket of ages loves show boating....but dude if there is one thing i know, it is you DO NOT flip a bat that insanely and have the result be a F-8 or one hopper off the wall. NO! that ball better be 20 rows back or break sum1s car windshield. There's obviously more he does but ever since he broke thru all u see now is kids tossing their bat 20 ft thru the air only to have hit a routine fly ball. I'm 26 and I def did plenty of "Moon shot wathcing" when i hit a bomb, but it had to be a freaking NO DOUBTER! Puig is a P.O.S. and I wish Bumgarner would have gotten a hold of him that one game.

Kids are morons. And Puig himself may be a moron at times. But a P.O.S? Really? You are a Giants fan though. So your opinion is biased.

As a Royals fan, your opinion of Giants fans is biased. Then again I'm a Giants fan so my opinion of your opinion may be biased.

Also, it's good to pay tribute to the international players (RIP Minnie Minoso) that helped to make and to keep America's favorite pastime strong. Not to mention that Puig's talent is undeniable.
Undeniable.....but play several years and show it is sustainable. Posey has been part of 3 championship teams, a batting champion, NL MVP and an undeniable team leader.

Puig...too soon to be on the cover IMO. It has nothing to do with race. It has to do with baseball. Purely baseball.

I honestly dont know who's the better team or who I'd rather have looking at this picture of McGriff.... The early 90's Bravos, or the later 90's Yanks.

One of the most lopsided trades in Yankees history. I was in disbelief how the Crime Dog was a throw in.

McGriff was a prospect in the New York Yankees minor league system in the early 1980s. He was drafted by the Yankees in the 9th round of the 1981 amateur draft and signed June 11, 1981. In 1982, the Yankees dealt McGriff, Dave Collins and Mike Morgan to the Toronto Blue Jays for Dale Murray and Tom Dodd. The trade is now considered one of the most one-sided deals in baseball history, and one of the worst in Yankees history. However, it appeared to make some sense from the Yankees' perspective, since McGriff was blocked from first base by Don Mattingly. Nonetheless, the Yankees didn't get nearly enough in return. Murray won only three games in three years with the Yankees, and was out of baseball by 1986. Dodd was released at the end of the season, and apart from a month with the Baltimore Orioles in 1986 spent the remainder of his career in the minors. In 2006, Rob Neyer wrote that the trade looked particularly lopsided because it was one of the few instances that a player of McGriff's stature was traded before getting to the majors.

McGriff and Donny could have platooned as 1B and DH. Hindsight is always 20/20. But my goodness.

Holy crap, is that story true? I had no idea actually. Just seeing McGriff reminded me of the early 90's Braves. (And made me think of the later 90's Yanks). That's TOOOOOOO awesome.

Going to be weird not seeing him in Dodger Blue anymore.
