    Qualifying Offer Comp Round

Does the Qualifying Offer Compensation Round process function correctly in offline franchise?

I'm going into my 3rd year in an online franchise and it appears making a player a QO is pointless, as the amateur draft is scheduled with picks #1-30 based on record, without any consideration of QOs taken into account. No team loses their picks, be it 1st round or 2nd, and the Compensation Round is never created.

I don't believe there is any kind of notice that you are getting or losing a pick but you do get penalized/awarded if you sign a player with a QO. I signed Lester after the 14 season and in 15 I didn't have a draft pick until the 4th round which would be round 2 in real life.

That is probably pretty confusing for a lot of users who don't know the rules of signing a player that had received a qualified offer from their previous team.

Yeah it sounds like in that case it worked as its supposed to. But in online franchise, every team had a pick in Round 1, 2 , 3 , and every round after that. Every single round was the same order as well. I think , at least in online franchise, that it's broken there. Not a surprise. There's a lot broken there.
