    what point am I missing??

basically transferring stuff from last year to this years game would be out of date rosters and managers, I really just don't see the point in that, going on 1 year later.

The way it should be used is be able to share rosters and players from 14 to 15 thats what more people want so they don't have to spend another year creating OSFM and hirostic rosters, imagine being able to exporting players from year to year OSFM would be done in a week!

Also did they address the glitch of prospects who you don't scout at all (complete grey bar) having their correct POT/ATTs listed on the draft screen?

Let's say you didn't find a single prospect and the screen was empty
When you enter the draft it'll fill up with all grey bar prospects
Those grey bar prospects are exactly what their attributes say

      That's the glitch

I am in the same boat. According to Ramone, you can still get the 15 schedule accurate if you upload your franchise BEFORE you click begin next season (please correct me if I am wrong). I am doing all of the off-season work in 14 to keep it realistic. Once I am done with the final day, I will upload to 15 before beginning spring training.

Then, I will begin the task of editing everyone's contract to reflect real life lol.

If you use 30 team control NOTHING would be out of date. THE ENTIRE POINT of Y2Y saves is to continue where you left off in the previous version. This is so people that go DEEP into their franchise mode WON'T have to start over year after year. There is a possibility that roster will eventually transfer over, but most likely not til MLB 16.

Ramone did confirm this, so you're correct. Don't advance until you get 15 or year 2 of your schedule will be out of whack.

The point you're missing is not everybody likes to play 1 season of franchise mode each year while keeping every real life roster move accurately represented in the video game.

Some people start a franchise mode and then they just accept that this franchise is now an alternate universe, where things aren't going to be exactly the same as real life. And then they just PLAY it. And try to get through many seasons at a time. So for those who maybe are in year 2020 in their franchises currently, now they can transfer that over to the new game and get all the new benefits of MLB 15 while still continuing where they left off.

            THAT's the point.

Just keep a separate save file from the end of the postseason, just in case you find later that you "missed the timing" on the accurate '15 calendar.

Re: How Will Carry Over Saves Work?

I'm confused at the confusion. Y2Y saves are great for guys like me who MIGHT get 2 or 3 years into a Franchise before the new game comes out. All the work into your roster isn't lost every year. Its the single most innovative feature in a sports game since...maybe Franchise Modes themselves.

If having up to date rosters and managers managing the right team, etc etc. is what's most important to you, then Y2Y saves are not for you.

Then that's where he would be in the 2015 game. As I stated earlier, EVERYTHING WILL REMAIN THE SAME AS IT IS IN YOUR 2014 FILE, except for new faces for guys like Tanaka, and Ventura and new skin tones for players. As stated by Ramone earlier.

That's fine, but you kept saying how it was a useless feature. It may be useless for the way you wanted to use it, but for a ton of people it's an incredible, innovative feature.
