You can still edit the faces of the created players even with carry over saves. You just can't edit SCEA faces like Trout, Machado etc... You'll still be able to edit guys like Tommy La Stella or Brandon Finnegan if you use the carry over save.

Just a thought, you can import players in franchise mode right? So couldnt you export the newest Pujols face from the main menu of your game (with updated rosters) and then go import him over the old Albert Pujols in your franchise?

I dont remember for sure but I think this is a thing? I've gotten so good at ignoring all the features I don't use, it's hard to remember if they still exist or not... lol.

My educated guess is that which I just referenced - fielding animations based on the paradigm of hit quality and base runners' speed rating to have the proper reaction and fielding animation. I could be wrong, though.

No sir. You can't import players into a franchise and as of MLB 14 you can't export existing SCEA players such as Albert Pujols, Mike Trout, Miguel Cabrera etc.........

Not sure what more you want. He gave you an educated guess and that's the best your going to get from anyone at this point.

My last advice would be to watch the twitch stream when it comes out later this week.

My guess for what it's worth is that now a fast baserunner doesn't necessarily translate into a fast fielder. Not all fast runners are quick/fast fielders sort of thing.

I really hope there is a net over Monument Park at Yankee Stadium and that the bleachers are gray instead of blue...

There was some graphical reason they said that they couldn't put the net up last year. I can't remember exactly what it was though.

Any information on what that means? New speed rating method for players? New way players move?

Last year it seemed that players speed was tied into steal ability, meaning, a player who had previously stole x-amount of bases had that figured into his speed rating. Is that different this year?

That is probably correct. Another way of wording it is a new model for fielder/runner speeds so that makes good sense as well. Combine that with the new anis and we will be some happy campers! Of course, it could just be that the top and bottom end of running speeds were changed making a bigger more noticeable difference between say Gordon or Gardner versus Viciedo or Morse in LF, for example. That would be enough to make me happy. Defense would play a bigger role in ratings.

Sorry cavichi but all we get is speculation until Thursday.
