    Android support for franchise mode

I'm not an online gamer. I AM a devoted franchise junky. One thing that would be a massive enhancement to franchise play for me would be the ability to do all the things that are not gameplay related from my phone.

    I could check stats.
    Adjust lineup.
    Scout upcoming opponent.
Tweak this, tweak that... You get the idea.

I would consume a lot more within franchise mode if there was a way I could interact with my franchise when not committing time to sitting in front of the tv. I suspect I'm not alone.

With cloud saves, this should be easier. Maybe the vita allows for this, but the mobile access on android or iOS devices would be killer (and likely really hard too).

Just wanted to get it off my chest.

    Go Orioles.

I completely agree with this. It seems that you spend half your time, if not more (for me at least), not actually playing games. This would cut down on a lot of time in franchise and leave more time for actually playing games.

    PS

    Let's Go O's!

I would love it if I could manage my franchise online through my phone.

      Atlanta Braves
      - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

That would be awesome but I can’t ever see it happening.

Companion apps for fully-featured franchise management & interaction would be right up there with carry over saves as a potential industry game-changer. However, I can't see how it can be done without making the mode "always connected" server-based, and we've seen the downsides of that movement.

If they just did it like Madden id be fine. Nothing different between offline Connected Franchise and Online. Online gets to use the app and website. Same with NCAA.

                I'd be SOOOOOO into this...

Either on my phone or on my iPad......it would be tremendous.

Don't they have something that you can do on your phone now?....I remember theSlab downloading something at CD last year.

Isn't it possible to use remote play on an Android phone now? I know it isn't the cleanest way but it's an option.

Using your iPad or Nexus or whatever as a 2nd screen during games would expand on this even more. Being able to check on your bullpen as you warm guys up without having to go through the menus. Seeing your box score as you play.

I'd love to be able to adjust my minor league lineups while taking a bathroom break instead of doing it at my console too.

                    Solid idea you have here!

I think that would be an awesome idea for those of us who dive into franchise mode!

Something ALA Battlefield. I used to fix up all of my gear at lunch, so I could go right into a gaming session at night. Then I'd use my iPad as a second screen while I played (maps, switch servers, equipment on the fly) Great idea!

Yup you can. It works surprisingly well even over 4G when away from home.
