Body types desperately need fixing still. Players still warp a bit coming out of the box. The jerseys were completely untouched, would have loved some cloth physics. The dirt around home plate looks kinda bad, almost cartoony still, like there are little brown rocks scattered around the batter's box. And can they please get rid of, or change the "right hand holding the helmet as they jog off the field after being thrown out at 1st" animation? It bugs me to no end seeing it around 20 times a game.

The new skin tones and dynamic shadows will go a long way towards making the game look great when the other issues are eliminated. The licensed gloves will make a bigger impact than I anticipated, that A-2000 looked really nice on Puig. Nice to see the Wrigley renovations will be there. The directional timing hitting is a god-send for me. Hearing that the CPU fielders won't cut-off all my gappers brings hope that they won't know exactly how a ball will carom off a wall like magic.

Anyone else notice the arm sleeves look more like fabric this year compared to looking painted on in last years game.

Authenic equipment looks very nice as well!!

Majority of the time outfielders know how a ball will come off the wall. Especially if its their home park.

I've never seen an MLB outfielder set up 10 feet to the left or right of the wall well before they even knew where it would impact the wall, or with how much force. The CPU always knew, home or away, exactly where to set up the outfielder way too early and way too perfectly. If Puig can make a bad read in MLB 15 on the flight path and take a step in before retreating, he should make a slightly not-perfect read on how the ball will come off the wall. All CPU outfielders are too automatic as it is, regardless on any fielding rating.

Looked pretty good to me. Since I still don't have a PS4 yet I never did play 14 on the next gen console. I don't know how far along in the development cycle the game they showed is/was so who knows what the final product will be. I don't think too much different but that is just a guess.
I don't know if TS 15 is enough for me to spring for the new PlayStation.

The show is worth it Imo, but either way ps4 has a lot if games like uncharted, Bloodborne, the order, etc... Plus the system itself makes going back to ps3 painful. Do you only play exclusives? Multiplats are a thing.

But isn't that what they're striving for with the bad reads off the bat, variable balls and strikes, and the new challenge system? And even to a lesser extent the dynamic pitch breaks and ball physics?

I cant believe nobody is talking about the new Dynamic Difficulty. Now we can set the speed at how fast or slow we want it to change and adapt. Then when we feel it is perfect we can set it to 0 and it wont change anymore.

For me this is a huge thing and a serious game changer. No chasing sliders, no having a bad day and having everything change. Now I can get it right where I want it Veteran ++ for pitching and All Star +++ for hitting or whatever and then set it so it will just stay there forever!!!!!

Dream come true, for me anyway.

Shoddy effort? Your trolling, the improvements alone are numerous, go to the eye doctor if u cannot see the obvious improvements to the visuals. You don't care about gameplay at all? Gameplay is more important than graphics.

I will say this is coming from someone who's played this franchise every year since 06 (eric Chavez cover) usually from one release to the next, I'm just now finally getting board of it as a whole. Their needs to be more baseball options in general. not super mega baseball either

Please explain how baseball is supported to be diff? I don't get these posts, the show closely mimics real baseball better then any game, what else can it go? You want unicorns in the outfield?

Agree 100%. My eyes are on the wrong side of 40, and it's very obvious just from the screenshots the lighting has been vastly improved. I'm sure the gameplay will be vastly improved as well, as always.
