I feel that even though there wasn't as dynamic of an increase in graphics like we saw in NBA 2K, it was still a positive result. Imagine seeing games like Madden and NBA 2K release a next gen game and then expecting the Show to do the same, and seeing the announcement that The Show wouldn't be releasing a next gen game until the next year. I feel like that would have been a tremendous mistake by SCEA.

But you yourself just stated that its impossible to tell how taking that approach would turn out. Would it be better than NHL? Worse? Same?
And who is to say that they would've taken that year off to even work on player models? Maybe they take the year off and add exactly what they have added for '15 because that is the plan they have set in place.
All the PS4 has brought us at this point on an exclusive basis are remodeled stadiums, and japanese swing types I guess. They've finally put in realtime reactions now, but that has to be the latest game ever to do that. What am I missing here that's so impressive about where we're at on "nexgen"?Red LegendComment

The question was would MLB 15 be more advanced than now with a year away to add more time for development. NHL 14 was skipped on the new system as all other titles from EAS went on PS4 even the UFC game. The results turned out NHL 15' that looks specifically capable powered by the new gen, a version hardly even relateable to the PS3 version. With that as an elaborate example, I just think it's capable that MLB The Show could also be much further advanced if they skipped on the 14' version on PS4.

But this is where I get off the carousel as I don't want to continue going round and round.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
