Yes....I too have been asking for NRI's for quite a while. Some sort of "position battle" breakdown to go with it as well(and for your roster in general)....
Even if they just gave us access to the entire roster for ST it would go a long way.
I really don't like being limited to my 40 man roster for ST.

This might just be my personal preference but I always have to turn the rumble off of the controller as it is more annoying than fun how they have it set up now (mimicking a heartbeat, strike zone). I would love to see it changed to just the batter perspective so it gives a quick low vibration for solid hit balls and a slightly longer but high vibration for when you get sawed off/pool cue it. This would mimick the bat's vibrations in my opinion.

Better than that, the entire mound conversation from Bull Durham when Larry Hockett (Robert Wuhl's character) comes out:

Larry: [Larry jogs out to the mound to break up a players' conference] Excuse me, but what the hell's going on out here?
Crash Davis: Well, Nuke's scared because his eyelids are jammed and his old man's here. We need a live... is it a live rooster?
        [Jose nods]
Crash Davis: . We need a live rooster to take the curse off Jose's glove and nobody seems to know what to get Millie or Jimmy for their wedding present.
        [to the players]
Crash Davis: Is that about right?
        [the players nod]
Crash Davis: We're dealing with a lot of s***.
Larry: Okay, well, uh... candlesticks always make a nice gift, and uh, maybe you could find out where she's registered and maybe a place-setting or maybe a silverware pattern. Okay, let's get two! Go get 'em.

I always wanted an option to customize rumble in the game. Where I could turn ON/OFF the differently assigned rumble functions along with a slider for intensity.

That's how it is in the game already. Maybe not any super long vibes, but it is there, and variable per hit type.

Just wondering if you guys have any idea what do you think would be the hardest hitting interface now that pure analog is out of the game?

I was always pure analog and it sucks its out but no sense crying about it and try something. Anyways, I will still use analog but am wondering what would give the greater challenge, analog + directional or analog + zone, any one have any ideas?

I"ve always thought zone analog was the toughest, (and the one I use).. because you have to focus on getting the PCI over the correct spot with a MOVING ball, while getting your timing right with your stride and swing with the other stick... tough coordination.

That is what I was thinking of trying, obviously with the new controls then you aim the PCI with the left stick and either push up, left/right, or down/up for the 3 types of swings correct?

Zone + analog would be the one that would have the most going on. In regards to lining up your PCI and timing your swing with the different swing types.

Hey Nem, I take it at CD, you tried the Zone plus.... and if you did, it works just like before, only with the new swing mechanic? (up is normal, side is contact, full is power, or whatever it is)... Or is that left unchanged where it's always full swing? (Sorry if you already answered this)..

Please, no lol. Anything but that. They've done enough with Analog controls for one year

In all seriousness, I use Analog Pitching as well and find the system near-perfect. Aside from making it a little more difficult maybe, I'd hate to see them give Analog Pitching the same casual player treatment Analog Hitting has.

I would like to see Pulse Pitching get a little tweak and go the route of MLB PowerPros, where after you press the button to pick your location, you don't let go but hold it for more effort.

With this mechanic though, I'd like to see the Pulse circle expand slightly the longer you hold the button, putting an even bigger emphasis on hitting the button at the right time, when the circle is smallest.

Well now that they've taken 2k's swing mechanic why not go the full route and use the pitching mechanic from PYS it's a good one.

I always wanted analog pitching to be more difficult and have the OSD take on various stages of "completeness" so to speak based off of ratings.
