Quick counts idea

I'm sure it's too late for this year, and I searched and haven't seen it mentioned ... but what would y'all think if the generated counts only had one strike?

Well, at least in bunting situations somehow. I've had several times runner on 1st nobody out or 1st and 2nd nobody out where the quick counts result in 2 strikes so I can't even attempt a bunt. If I'm not trying to bunt then I'm fine with 2 strikes. Just an idea. Maybe I'm too much of a nerd but I quit using it because of this.

That's going to happen this year - B Ma said it on the twitch stream. Pitchers hitting counts will always start 1-1, to make it easier to bunt. They also said there will be more middle counts in general this time.

Edit: TO CLARIFY - the pitcher's automatic 1-1 will only happen in quick count mode - the entire at-bat will play out in normal games.

Oh okay haven't watched the stream yet. That's what I get for thinking something has occurred to me that hasn't to them.

It is not enough just for pitchers to have a 1-1 count. That is better, but maybe at some point it would be nice to have a quick "sim next pitch" option. Where if you press a certain button or button combination it will skip ahead to the next pitch. If they were to somehow incorporate this into, or in place of, the current quick pitch mechanism, that would be excellent.

Or even make it so you can toggle quick counts on/off during a game.

I'd eventually like to see a slider for quick counts for the percentage of what count is generated. For example, if I want to set it like this:
0-1 4%
1-0 5%
0-2 5%
2-0 5%
3-0 3%
1-1 20%
1-2 20%
2-1 20%
3-1 2%
3-2 15%
0-0 1%
or like this
0-1 10%
1-0 10%
0-2 10%
2-0 10%
3-0 10%
1-1 10%
1-2 10%
2-1 10%
3-1 10%
3-2 10%
0-0 0%
or any combination the user chooses.
