An oddly specific request for 'The Show' developers

Hello to any SCEA developers or employees lurking on this site.

You guys make the elite sports game year after year. The start of a new baseball season isn't complete without a fresh copy of the new MLB The Show. Your work is hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I have a very small request that is probably very easy to implement:

I love fantasy drafts, but I have severe OCD when it comes to my team.
Because of this, I end up re-drafting literally 30+ times, trying to land the perfect team. It doesn't take many rounds for me to realize the team isn't quite right and I want to restart.

Unfortunately, there isn't a restart button. The only option is to "auto complete" the draft, which then loads up the season and "auto-saves". Then I have to quit the new season, start a new season, apply season preferences, and start another draft. Sometimes I'll have so many unused season save files that it literally takes an hour to delete them all. There is probably a way to turn off "auto-save", but it's still a pain to start a new season over and over and over.

A "Restart Draft" button would save so much hassle. It's all I ask.

That, and Ebbets Field, and Tiger Stadium, and the cornfield from Field of Dreams. And a ton of historic players

Thanks for everything you do, guys. Russell, your arms are looking jacked. I'm jealous.

It'll make it 10 times easier if you turn off auto save! Its in game play settings, last screen that has hot zones and other stuff.
1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!

That's not an oddly specific request.

This is an oddly specific request!

"Can you make Jason Heyward's hands look softer in game? He seems like he'd have softer hands."

Doesn't that make you feel odd?? Why would someone think of that? What is this person's obsession with this man's hands? Why him?

You're welcome. (Clearly I need sleep)

That autosave is for after games only - the autosave he's talking about (which has been in since '11 & CAN'T be turned off) is when you start a chise/RTTS/season and, I agree, is PITA annoying

apparently this auto-save cannot be disabled.
Even if it could be disabled, it's still highly frustrating having to start a new franchise, tweak all the settings to my liking, then re-enter the draft, over and over.

For instance, let's say Andrew McCutchen has been on a tear in real baseball, so I'm in a frame of mind where I MUST have McCutchen on my team. But let's say he gets drafted top 3 overall. This gives each new draft a 10% chance of landing McCutchen, which results in me drafting over and over and over.

I realize I can always just go to "roster control" in the franchise and swap the player onto my team, but that feels cheap. I want to get my team through the draft.

the oddest request I've seen asked here was last year, when someone started a thread asking for the ability to change the players cup sizes!!!. now that is a odd and disturbing request.

hmmm... perhaps an "Oddly Specific Request" thread is in order....

I would like an option to turn certain players homerun celebration "off". Some guys, like Scott Rolen, never go into a pose, no matter how far the ball is crushed. I guess it's not that weird of a request.

Aren't you essentially doing this anyway by running your draft till you get who you want?
