Re: RTTS boring baserunning fixed?
These have been available for a while regarding RTTS baserunning:
All
Lead Runner
None
In addition to that you can also have a teammate's at bat start in the middle of the count instead of 0-0.
I have mine set to Lead Runner when I am batting so I can have the opportunity to steal if I hit a single. Then I change it to None anytime I'm in scoring position.
Atlanta Braves - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

Re: RTTS boring baserunning fixed?
Yeah, you have been able to skip base running attempts for years.
The downside? Fewer potential points. if you are controlling the runner there are several ways to earn points (Stealing, advancing, scoring, etc). If you turn it off it appears you lose these opportunities.
You can also go to the pause menu and use the Fast Forward menu option to skip to your next opportunity (although you will most likely still be on base)
I recently created a speedy CF just so that I could at least steal some bases. I hate leaving potential points on the table by skipping the base running but I agree it is deadly boring and greatly slows down the pace of a RTTS career. In past years I turned off both Fielding and Running opportunities because you would get points even for events that happened when you were not controlling your player. In 2014 it seems like you got no points for any simmed opportunities.Last edited by Dolenz; 02-12-2015, 01:57 PM.Comment
