When I see a chopper to the mound or a nubber to 3B, I instinctively push the stick UP to go after it. The problem is that the game for some reason makes my pitcher run towards 2B when I have UP held down, as if it was going to let me field from the camera angle behind home. It's responding to that orientation, which makes no sense because I can't actually move my guy until the camera flips around to the other side. This is very frustrating because the alternative to my instant reaction is to just wait a half second after the camera switches angels and THEN rush the ball. Neither of which is ideal because it gives the runner extra steps towards 1B and isn't very realistic to see a pitcher stand there on the mound not moving for a half second before he takes off towards the ball. I have even improved my throwing power to 99 and my fielding and reactions skills are like 80+ just to try and combat this issue, but I'm still giving up a couple hits each game because of this.
Anyway, just wondering if this has been fixed at all because I fear one of these days I will lose a no-hitter/perfect game or even a World Series because I am allowing baserunners that should have never reached base.
