No press release, but I went to their complex the other day and every player had red cleats. I'm also watching the game on my Lap Top (MLB TV While at the A's vs Cubs game) and all the players are wearing red cleats. Let me see if I can find some info on it for you.

I haven't seen them. They look great. CC got fat again, so he isn't quite so slim now. Also his hat should be tilted, but those are no bug deal.Comment

I guess the tilted caps didn't make it into the game this year.Comment

Yes, they are aware of that too. My personal opinion is that it probably won't be changed for MLB 15, but we'll see. It is definitely on their radar tho.

Being changed for 15 would be amazing, some players look really funny with the major bends of their brim.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Looks like they got the Red cleats in for the Angels. They obviously have to update the newcomers to the team. They also need to eliminate the black on the shoe (Should be white, Tc1=red, or tc2=Navy Blue). Otherwise easy manual fix.Last edited by ShowTyme15; 03-05-2015, 10:32 PM.Comment

Cleats are definitely locked again. When Ramone does a year to year save and shows Puig in the player editor screen the Dodger's cleats are locked. Pause it at the 1:54:24 mark and you'll see it.Last edited by ShowTyme15; 03-05-2015, 11:31 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 15 The Show Stream - Licensed Equipment, Universal Rewards & Diamond Dynasty
I watch baseball pretty much during the season and playoffs and with The Show it provides an authentic game to play except for there was no equipment license until now for the PS4. I really have never payed that much attention to what the players wear or use so much until now. I was watching the MLB Network yesterday some beginning spring training games, Dodgers vs White Sox and Twins vs Red Sox and there was lots of close-ups of the players wearing the same equipment we will have in the Show , it was very cool to see all the gloves, cleats and bats with all the logos we have wanted in our game. Equipment ... Baby....... Equipment...... So sweet to see........... Excitement for March 31st it's all most hereWhen you come to a fork in the road, take it..... Yogi Berra
Boise State Broncos
San Francisco 49ers
St. Louis Cardinals
Chicago Blackhawks

Re: MLB 15 The Show Stream - Licensed Equipment, Universal Rewards & Diamond Dynasty
May I just say, this is the hardest working most tedious dev team I've ever seen. The reason they have no competition is because they're so good and work so hard, they put their competition out of business. (Not to mention MLB 2K just started sucking, but I digress). If you're gonna say a dev team doesn't work hard aim that at Tiburon. At least it'll be a valid statement then.
As 2k was under contract to make that game with that horrible licensed game contract after EA took Football and why do you think EA chose to re make NBA Live instead of bringing back MVP Baseball ?
Ill give you a hint $$$$ as theres just not enough sales for another Licensed MLB baseball game to warrant it well at least not enough for EA IMO .Finally Roster share in NHL 22 ! Dreams do come true ! To Garryowen and Glory boys !Comment

While I agree with the SCEA is a hard working team statement I totally disagree on your reasoning while theres no competition or other video game system MLB Baseball games .

If I'm understanding this correctly... you disagree with my assessment on why there's no competition, but in your argument on why you disagree, you validate my argument on why there isn't any. (Not enough sales to go around) Is that because the Show's taking them all because they're the best. Finally Roster share in NHL 22 ! Dreams do come true ! To Garryowen and Glory boys !Comment

Re: MLB 15 The Show Stream - Licensed Equipment, Universal Rewards & Diamond Dynasty
Even MLB 2k13 sold around 400k copies on X360, while MLB 13 sold around 650k.
That isn't a gigantic gap when you consider The Show is considered the vastly better product.
Even if EA put out an MVP baseball that was better than The Show and on multiple platforms, it just doesn't have a pool of customers large enough to make it a worth while investment. You have to bet hard that there are a lot of MLB fans that want a game, but cannot purchase one due to not owning a Sony console.
But, I hope we do someday see the return of MVP. It's just...what would it even be, could they even come close to what MVP 2005 was? Even then 2K and EA were battling it out for sales as 2K5 and MVP 2005 both sold well on PS2.Comment

Well if a third party made a MLB game it would be multiplat, at least XBO and PS4. But your assessment is correct I feel on why there is no competition for The Show. The market just isn't very large for MLB video games right now.
