One thing that has always bothered me was that the Show would cut to fielding view instantly at the moment of contact (when pitching with behind-the-pitcher view). A huge realism killer for me.

Well, I went back and watched the first twitch stream - and they appear to show the ball for a split second after contact now - just like in real life.

Fast forward to the 37 min mark or so when Kershaw is pitching from broadcast view.

I've personally played around with the camera delays, at the last few CDs, and it just doesn't work well with assisted fielding (on hard-hit balls in particular). Now, if you are asking for this camera in auto-fielding (like what you see in CPU vs. CPU) mode, then I would add it to the wishlist.

This is something I've been asking for for a while. With broadcast view seeming to be the default for pitching now and the dev team really trying to push the game as a broadcast experience visually this has always been a key element missing from the game for me.

Basically I think the best solution to this would be that when pitch delay is active in the options (presentation settings?) you would be forced to use a fielding option that was basically autofielding, but allowed the user to take over control whenever they please. Either not tocuh the controls and the fielder operates like normal autofielding, but once an input is received the game reverts to normal fielding until the play is over. I've never used autofielding so maybe it already operated like this, but I thought it just took over completely for the user.

I wouldn't want a delay in any situation where I'm controlling the defense.

I'd hate to be robbed of the opportunity for diving catches in the infield just for a small change in presentation.

Especially for those like me who use manual fielding (or I guess assisted).

ive wanted this in the game for 5 years.
it ruins the broadcast view for me when it doesnt show the ball trajectory.

please keep this in the game for hitting and auto fielding.
its obviously in the game. so hopefullly just make a tweak and keep the delay for hitting and autofielding.

the latest twitch video when the pitcher got bndled. i had no clue how it happened. because you cant see trajectory. you just see a pitcher with a ball off the mound.

The broadcast camera view is terrible for gameplay, anyway. I've hated it from the beginning. It's all about the Catcher 2 view.

It'd be cool to see a delay when pitching from any of the broadcast cameras (or if you hit from that view as well), on no doubter HRs. You'd see a slight reaction of the hitter and the pitcher, and then have the camera switch to the ball trajectory cam as you see the ball leave the yard and the outfielders go into the "give up" animation.
