Like I said, with year-to-year saves, it's going to make me do things I normally don't do - such as actually play spring training lol, rule 5, etc ...(yea I skipped a ton of stuff haha)

I will give Alex a shot in ST. He won't need to impress me a whole ton as he'll be the primary DH, but he needs to do well, period. I'll give him till the AllStarBreak to make a final decision. If his average is below .275 come the mid summer classic, then I'll look to trade him. If no team wants to take on the contract, I'll release him and eat the money.

Shoot....I usually go total insane and turn budgets off ...might go full sim this year haha

Y2Y saves is definitely changing the game for me as well. Before, since I play every inning of every game, I knew one season in franchise was pretty much all I was getting through. But now my approach changes completely. Ill be paying more attention to my farm system and drafting. But with ARod, he is going to be DH, and may not even be at that spot full time. I prefer Garrett Jones at right with Beltran DHing. Garrett Jones is too good to just be a backup. However, ARod is too expensive to be on the bench. ARod may see a few games at third, but not many. I'll just play it as it goes with him.

I agree, will definitely have to get Garrett Jones in there some way. Maybe platooning Beltran and Rodriguez at DH is a good idea

But I just feel weird signing free agents in general because of my emotional attachment to certain players and the team. I feel guilty signing guys. I like to develop from within, which isn't really the Yankees style but I was born into Yanks fandom haha.

I may even try a Twins franchise this year too having watched so many New Britain games last summer. Although they switched affiliations with the Rockies unfortunately.

ive already started defending my 2014 World Series Championship with the Marlins... so far in season 2... im 0.5 game back of the braves and a record of 4-1!!!!

I am going to continue on with my Braves franchise. One month of the 1st season remaining. Thinking of contract extensions for Heyward and J-Up! Resigning some of the potential free agents I got in trades from BJ and Uggla deals..

But probably will start a newer 15' Braves franchise because I want to see new managers in the game...

I have ( 7 ) RTTS players ready to transfer over , some teams that I was drafted on and a couple players for my favorite team the Cardinals.

I usually end up doing one with the Yankees and then one with a rebuilding team but it looks like this is the year I get to mesh those two into one.

And sometimes I do a fantasy draft just to mix things up for a little fun. I'll pick a team that I really enjoy the stadium and uniforms of and have a go at it.

Probably will wait for the OSFM rosters to start my pirates franchise. In the meantime I have been messing around with fantasy drafting a team to carry over from 14 to keep me busy. This will let me pick a team with a cool stadium or uni’s and play in some different ballparks.

I'll be using the Mariners in franchise mode and my Road to the show mode as awlays. I've been aaway from the show since mlb 13. Has it changed much since then as far as gameplay and stuff ?

I usually end up doing a couple. I always do one with the Pirates. And I always do a fantasy draft. My third one is always a new team every year. Padres may be front runner this year, but I'm not completely sure. Mariners, Orioles, White Sox, and Indians are all other potential candidates.
