any way to get older save file back?

So I switched from my 5 season deep SS and started playing my pitcher before I had to go to work. By the time the game was getting over I was in a rush and when I went to save it saved over my most recently played which just happened to be my SS. Now I know it's a dumb move on my part but is there any possible way to get my save back from an earlier date? This is ps4 btw... I wish when you went to freaking save it it would automatically put you on the one you're playing on like 2K does

Unfortunately, I think once a file is written over, it is what it is. Sorry buddy.

Do you have access to a DeLorean DMC-12, a flux capacitor & 1.21 gigawatts (or a bolt of lightning)?
Or maybe even a hot tub?

You can try and download it from the cloud but it probably has already updated the one you had and overwritten it.

I was hoping I could restore my ps4 to an earlier date kinda like you can a computer but I guess i'm screwed.. I do have a save file still of my SS but it's after his first season when I signed my contract. Sigh.. idk if I should just say screw it an wait for 15 or go back to the grind. A lot of pretty epic moments are now gone though

Just another reason for keeping at least two copies of the mode save file you are currently playing off of...
