BJ Upton is going by the name Melvin Upton JR. this year is it to late to make this change in the game ?

I'm sure changing the name in the text would be easy...I'm guessing the commentary stuff would be the hard part. But in the last stream they did say they were still adding commentary

Doubt it, they can change the text but it won't happen with Commentary, remember when Stanton changed his name? they didn't have that fixed till another year, besides if he as bad as last year BJ might end up getting DFA fast lolComment

I hope he pulls an Andruw Jones on us, hits 50 home runs, and we're able to pawn him off on the Dodgers. But no one hits 50 anymore. Would 40 be asking too much?Comment

He will likely be DFA'd in the first month of the season and will never be heard from again so this isn't a big issue.Comment

I doubt the Braves are going to want to eat $45 million, because nobody is going to claim him or trade for him at this point in his career.

I'm going to guess the other way, it's just not a big deal with so many other things needing final touch ups.
Especially since I'm guesstimating the game is most likely going "gold', as another thread calls it, by the end of the week. Definitely by the middle of next week.T-BONE.Comment

His name on the roster screens and stuff may show up as Melvin. That doesnt seem like that hard of a thing to change. But his commentary name will still be BJ most likely.Comment

Yep like I said in another post giancarlo stanton was still Michael Stanton, I think it was in 2012 and they never changed it the entire year. because it's a in game player too we can't edit the game ourselves, if it's really a problem we can always re create him I am sure Melvin would be in their to have in there, Upton would be not the JR part thoughComment
