Went ahead and checked this for '17... sadly it has not changed.

Also, the blurb on this game mechanic is still in the in-game Strategy Guide as well.Comment

Re: RTTS Difficulty Setting Confusion
About that time of year again... and now that we know that there has been an overhaul to player progression in RTTS, it could be a heavily-played mode if I don't have to worry about difficulty adjustments.Last edited by NewNapkin; 02-18-2018, 10:34 PM.Moderator

Re: RTTS Difficulty Setting Confusion
Never understood why this was implemented. I want things to be consistent based on the ratings at every level. Big thing for me is the pitch speed. I can't hit above veteran pitch speed so I have to turn it down even if I didn't want to. I am old and have bad eyes....Comment

Re: RTTS Difficulty Setting Confusion
In 17 I've started a pitcher and to avoid all the difficulty jumps I just set it to legend and force myself to just improve through.
So far after two seasons in AA I've had era's of 4.45 and currently 4.72PSN: Dalton1985

Re: RTTS Difficulty Setting Confusion
Oh well. I locked in my Dynamic Difficulty to the difficulty I wanted last year and just rolled with it. Shame to still not have an explanation after all of these years, lol.Moderator
